Maynard Okereke, better known as the Hip Hop MD, is an award winning Science Communicator, STEM personality, and keynote speaker. His passion for science & entertainment, along with his curiosity for new innovation has taken him through an incredible life journey.
He now uses his knowledge and love of learning to help inspire audiences of all ages by bridging the gap between music, entertainment, & science - encouraging more diverse involvement in the STEM fields.

As a host and keynote speaker, Maynard has presented at K-12 assemblies and educator conferences alike. His sessions cover a wide range of topics, all aimed at educating, inspiring, empowering, and provoking new thoughts & ideas on a number of scientific topics.
