Science in Light of Social Injustice

The past few weeks have showcased an unprecedented change in society. From one global pandemic that has reshaped the way we navigate and our interpersonal connections; to another pandemic of social injustice that's been effecting black communities for generations.

Being part of the collective that helped drive #BlackBirdersWeek has connected me with an amazing group of peers & professionals highlighting the need for more diversity in the STEM fields. It has also enabled me to utilize my Hip Hop Science platform to showcase more black voices in science, as well the role science plays in social issues & politics.

I had the pleasure of speaking with STEM.org to shed some light, and address a conversation that I've been having and will continue to have to ensure our voices are heard in STEM.
